MLB quiz data is built for quiz play from public baseball records. Career totals, season highs, player profile fields, handedness, and team labels may be normalized for consistent comparisons.

Missing profile fields are displayed as hidden or unavailable rather than being guessed. The MLB MVP data currently targets the same quiz granularity as the NPB core.

Data sources and licenses

Japanese baseball data

Player information and season statistics are primarily based on public data from ProEyeKyuu, with name normalization, aggregation and processing for quizzes.

Japanese baseball data uses ProEyeKyuu player information and season statistics, supplemented by Wikipedia title records. Career totals are calculated from the source season records; batting average and other rates are calculated from the relevant totals. We do not use career ranking data obtained from the NPB official website.

Supplementary individual title records reference Wikipedia lists for the Central League and Pacific League, with player matching and field normalization. See the source articles for revision histories and license notices.
